Recently, Dr. Uduakobong Inyang, of the Department of Insurance and Risk Management, University of Uyo, shared her heartfelt appreciation to our Founder and Funder, Senator Aniekan Bassey, for the research grant she received in September 2023.
In her letter titled “Award of Research Grant: An Appreciation and Progress Report,” Dr. Inyang expressed deep gratitude for the ₦5 million research grant that has significantly advanced her work in Insurance and Risk Management and Management Sciences.
She noted that the funding made it possible to purchase research materials, conduct fieldwork, collaborate with colleagues within and outside the University of Uyo, and publish papers in reputable open-access journals making her findings accessible to a global audience.

Dr. Inyang emphasized that the RHAB-YES Foundation’s initiative to support research as a means of empowering academics in Akwa Ibom State is “the first of its kind and highly commendable.”
She concluded by reaffirming her commitment to producing impactful, evidence-based research that addresses pressing challenges in insurance, risk management, and broader management disciplines inspired by Senator Aniekan Bassey’s continuous investment in knowledge creation.
